Arthur A. Matje Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur A. Matje (Long Grove, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Arthur shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Arthur farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (16550 290th St, Long Grove, IA 52756). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lions Club International, St. Ann's Catholic Church, or the Long Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
