He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hubert and Irene Genevieve Brus (Organ); and his sons, Carl Brus III (Leslie) of Camanche, IA and John Phillip Brus. He is survived by: his wife Marti; his siblings, Barb Spickermann of Tipton, IA, Ron Brus (Susan) of North Liberty, IA and Wayne Brus; and his nephews, David, Kevin and Earl Spickermann. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
