He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Burke and Marguerite Burke (McGarry); his wife Crystal Anderson; his son Dennis; his brother Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Al Connell, JC Gohlmann, Marvin Anderson, Vernon Anderson, Arnold Anderson, Opal Leafstone, Carol Miller and Hope Drummond.

He is survived by : his daughters, Debra McDermott (Mark) of DeWitt and Colleen Burke of Lost Nation; his daughter-in-law Janet Burke of Lost Nation; his grandchildren, Stephanie Luttrell (Dean), Kevin Burke (Heather), Eric McDermott (Bo), John McDermott and David McDermott (Cassie); his sisters, Marian Connell of Grand Mound and Karen Steffen (Florian) of Deerfield Beach; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Burke of DeWitt, Nancy Anderson of Murphy and Margaret Anderson of Dallas, Texas.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
