She was predeceased by : her parents, Vern Amber and Sadie "Pearl" Baker (Barnhill); her husband William "Bill" Barnes Jr.; her daughter Judith Geno; her parents-in-law, William F. (Frank) and Maggie Barnes; her children-in-law, Jerry Geno and Connie Barnes; her granddaughter Megan Selby; her grandson-in-law Joseph Lennie; her siblings, Forrest Baker, James Baker, Donald Baker, Merrill Baker, Doris Shelford and Gayle Hastings; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Baker, Hazel Baker, Cleo Baker, Helen Baker, Beatrice Dorr, Frances Waters, Jack Shelford, Bob Ivins, John Hastings, Rev. Harold Knight, Earl Moyer, Harold Waters and Max Bowman.

She is survived by : her children, William "Bill" Barnes III (Sheree), Christy Newman (Merlin), Pamela Selby (Kirby) and Loita Williams (Bob); her sister Lola Ivins; and her sister-in-law Lorena Bowman. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
