David J. Kroymann Obituary

Low Moor, IA – David J. Kroymann, 69, of Low Moor passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Bettendorf Health Care Center. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. He was born on August 25, 1956 to Lou Donald and Helen (Lorenzen) Kroymann. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1975 and continued to reside in Clinton County. David married Brenda Geerts on January 24, 1976. Years later, he married Sandy Whitehead on August 15, 2005 in Clinton IA. He worked at International Paper for 20 plus years, Determann Industries, followed by driving truck for Duane Johnson Trucking. Later, he drove as an owner operator over-the-road truck driver until retiring in 2020.

David is survived by his son, Michael (Beth) Kroymann of Clinton; three grandsons, Mathias, Conrad, and Otto Kroymann of Clinton; his siblings Jim (Robin) Kroymann of Clinton, Dorinda (David) Kroymann-Moens of Phoenix, AZ, Angela (Kevin) Shepherd of Phoenix Az, and Dan (Jennifer) Kroymann of Olathe, KS, along with 10 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his estranged wife Sandy and her three children, Chrissy Cartee, Whitney Whitehead and Tommy Whitehead.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jennifer Kroymann, his parents, his brother Steven Kroymann and his sisters Sandy Slayden and Pamela Naeve.
