With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara A. Schauer of Lowden, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on June 18, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Peters and Lillian Peters (Taft); her husband Kenneth Schauer; and her children, Peggy Li'Ann, Kriste Kae, Kevin Kenneth and Scott Andrew.
She is survived by: her children, Korrene Boleyn of Clarence and Patrick (Marcia) of Brodhead, WI; her grandchildren, Melissa Grindle (Dustin), Michelle Smith (Boose), Jeff Kost (Samantha), James Kost (Brittney), Byron Boleyn, Emma Boleyn, Kevin Schauer and Henry Schauer; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Wrigley, Trenton, Kiley, Bryce, Brett, Charlotte, Ashtyn, Blakely and Camryn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (311 5th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
