She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Burr and Iona M. Burr (Webb); and her siblings, Rose Marie Burr and James A. Burr. She is survived by: her husband Jon Muhs (Jon) of Lowden, Iowa; her sisters, Pat Mundell of Muscatine, Iowa. and Nancy Wangberg of Muscatine, Iowa.; and her siblings' children, Tory, Ashley, Matthew and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Drury College in Springfield, MO; P.E.O. Chapter JR in Muscatine; or the Pilot Club of Muscatine.
