With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar C. Hintz Jr. of Lowden, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sr. Hintz and Mildred Hintz (Spencer); his siblings, Barbara, Luella and Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Potter, Grant Cobb, Duane Jellings, Beverly Hintz and Lovice Hintz.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Oltmanns; his children, Deborah Clough (Chris) of Marshalltown, Janise Wenndt (Joe) of Lowden, Melanie Miller (Brett) of Lowden, Robin Housley (George) of Lowden and David Hintz (Jayne) of Lowden; and his siblings, Elizabeth Cobb of Silvis, IL, Darlene Jellings of West Union, Doris Lehrman (Arnold) of Stanwood, Margaret Ford (Robert) of Tipton and Robert of Eldridge. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
