He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gordon Walker and Patricia Lynn Engelhart; and his brother Joseph Walker. He is survived by: his son John Walker Jr. (Alyssa) of Mechanicsville; his stepson Michael Ziegler of Lowden; his sister Christine Burkey (Aron) of Maquoketa; his grandchildren, Hayden and Kinsley Walker; his stepfather Richard Denklau of Maquoketa; and his former wife Sue Walker of Lisbon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (311 5th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216).
