With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet Reed (Lu Verne, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janet left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schneider and Anna Schneider (Wedel); her husband Sanford; her grandson Sanford Joseph Reed; and her siblings, Harlan Schneider and Jarine Sutton.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Reed of Fallbrook, Sanford Jon Reed (Laurie) of Hemet, California and Sara Reed of El Cajon, California; her siblings, Merlin Schneider (Holly) of Reno and Janelle Miller (Robert) of Murrietta, CA; and her cousin Carmen Nielsen of Lu Verne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the children request a donation be made to the charity of your choice in remembrance of their mother.
