He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lough and Evelyn Lough (Ritz). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Closser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his children, Roger Lough (Karen) of Luzerne, Mike Lough (Angie) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Tammy Schroeder (Nicole) of Iowa City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Trevor Lough (Hanna) of Pella, Kelsey Bird (Will) of Luzerne, Alexis Lough of Troy Mills and Savannah Lough; his great grandchildren, Millie, Maren, Kinley and Wrenley; and his siblings, Janet McVey (Chuck) of Rose Hill, Roseanne Van Horn (Larry) of Springfield, Virginia and Warren Lough (Bonnie) of Kingsport, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family. Gary was very strong and battled Alzheimer's Disease for many years.
