He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoksbergen and Clazina Hoksbergen (DeJong); and his sister Charlene Criger. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lirio (Buser); his friend Church; his children, Gabrielle Corbin (Aaron), Nicolas Lirio (Danielle), Nathanael Lirio (Merritt), Moriah Hoksbergen, Lillian Hoksbergen and Caroline Hoksbergen; his grandchildren, Ava Corbin, Ben Corbin, Isabelle Corbin and Olive Corbin; his brother Ron Hoksbergen (Marlyn); his brother-in-law Dan Criger (Corene); and his sisters, Donna Ferguson (Barry) and Cindy Vandenberg (Gary).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Federated Fellowship Church (309 Roosevelt Rd, Pella, IA 50219).
