He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Meyer and Erma Meyer (Krohn); his wife Connie Bartlett Meyer; his grandchildren, Corinne Meyer and Mason Meyer; and his parents-in-law, Viola Bartlett and Arthur Bartlett.
He is survived by: his sons, Vernon Meyer (Aileen) of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Justin Meyer (Erinn) of Sac City, IA; his grandchildren, Paige, Jenna, Caidyn and Aspen; and his siblings, Beverly Meyer-Vratny (Don) and Leroy Vernon Meyer (Carla).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are directed to the Harlan Meyer family to help with local youth organizations.
