He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gene Sands and Delsie Fayette Sands (Brown); and his siblings, Alice and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sands; his sons, E. Jason Sands (Shantel) and Aaron Sands (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jacob, Devin, Isaac, Evelyn, Tia Smith and Trey Smith (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Emryk and Brixtyn; his siblings, Michael Sands (Susan), Byron Sands (Cindy) and Debbie Dhone; and his sister-in-law Diane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
