She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hunter and Gertrude Hunter (Robinson); her husband Marvin Scott "Mike" Cummings; her grandson Luke Mann; and her sons-in-law, David Mann and John Van Renterghem.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Van Renterghem of Grinnell, Teresa Wells (Brent) of Malcom and Marty Cummings (Joy) of Malcom; her grandchildren, Nicole Stuart (Zach) of Hudson, IA, Tia Heishman (Joe Bonaventura) of Grinnell, Dustin Cummings of Malcom, Shamus Wells (Erin) of Grinnell, Courtney Michalek (Curtis) of Malcom and Taylor Pavic (Dado); and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Madole, Broc Heishman, Kade Heishman, Payton, Makenzie Stuart, Cadence, Brody, Dylan Cummings, Reese, Lane Wells, Rowyn and Ryder Michalek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to the Malcom Fire Department and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
