She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Alvin and Eva Katherine Smith (Powles); her in-laws, Clair and Avis Jones; her children, Dennis and Denise; her siblings, Mary Smith, Nellie Smith, Charles Smith (Wilma) and Sidney Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Smith, Nancy Irvin and Donald Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Jones of Malvern; her children, Ricky Allen Jones (Lori) of Red Oak, IA and Tammy Marie Jones of Omaha, NE; her siblings, Max Smith of Grand Junction, CO, Keith Smith (Linda) of Springfield, MO, Judy Auxier (Keith) of Silver City, IA and Carolyn Johnson (Max) of Glenwood; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Jones (Dorothy) of Gardendale, AL, Janet Donelson of Calamus, IA and Marie Donelson (Jim) of Davenport, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lakin Center (61321 315th St, Malvern, IA 51551). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Charles E. and Florence M. Lakin Community Center (61321 315th St, Malvern, IA 51551).
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Tabor Nazarene Church in Tabor, IA.
