It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle E. McDowell of Malvern, Iowa, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wiemerslage and Dorothy Wiemerslage (Poor); her daughter Angela Hankenson; and her sister Earla Hunter (Darrell). She is survived by: her children, Candy Dose (Patrick Jeter) of Malvern, Iowa and Earl McDowell (Diana) of Council Bluffs; her grandchildren, David (Makala), Jessica, Amanda (Dylan), Collin (Sarah), Bodee (Staronna), Jimmy and Randy (Nevaeh); and her siblings, Lorraine McDowell (Bill) of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Duane Wiemerslage (Glee) of Crawford, Nebraska. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
The family will direct memorial contributions.
