We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 96, Arlene Frances Langel of Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bockenstedt and Hilda Bockenstedt (Hermsen); her husband Ambrose Langel; her siblings, Ruth Ann Bockenstedt, Jan Oberbroeckling (Henry), Pearl Meier (Vic), Irvin Bockenstedt, Vernon Bockenstedt (Sharon) and Walter Bockenstedt; her sister-in-law Dorothy Bockenstedt; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Langel; and her stepgrandsons, Rodney Cozad and Chad Cozad.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Langel (Janice) of Dundee and Richard Langel (Linda) of Manchester; her brothers, John Bockenstedt of Cedar Rapids and Virgil Bockenstedt (Sue) of Asbury; and her sisters-in-law, Valeria Bockenstedt of Manchester, Mary Bockenstedt and Helen Krogmann of Dubuque. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
