He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Michael and Mary Genevieve Gaffney (Heffernen); his sister Rita Brown (Harland); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne "Jodi" Gaffney and Lloyd "Blackie" Ralston.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Gaffney of Manchester; his children, Kathy Conrad (Dick) of Marion, Jim Gaffney (Lupé) of Glendale and Mary Milroy (Kevin) of Silver Spring, Maryland; his grandchildren, Scott Conrad (Lisa), Sara LeMosy (James), Erin Bailey, Megan Schuett, Bethany Titman (Danny), Alexa Milroy (Ken Benjes), James Gaffney and John Gaffney; his great grandchildren, Alex Conrad, Savannah Bailey, Evan Bailey, Connor Schuett, Carter Schuett, Everett LeMosy, Colin LeMosy and Nathan Titman; and his siblings, Catherine Ralston of Cedar Rapids and Vince Gaffney of Apache Junction, Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred by the family.
