We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024, at the age of 76, David Scott Raak (Manchester, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Eunice Raak (Menning) and G. Dennis Raak; his parents-in-law, Alvin and Laura Ortgies (Caspers); his brother-in-law John Ortgies; and his nephew Phillip Ortgies.
He is survived by : his wife Julie Ortgies; his children, Eric Raak (Kristy Schwan), Paul Raak (Amber) and Laura Van Loh (Dan); his grandchildren, Megan Galvin, Jackson Van Loh, Gregory, Isabelle and Isaac Raak; his sisters, Marlene Raak, Lora Haug (Roger), Sandra Langstrat (Roger) and Rachel Gunderson (Lynn); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Ortgies and Ruth Engelken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
