He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vaske and Loretta Vaske (Quint); his siblings, John, Joseph and Janice Bahl; his brothers-in-law, Mark Monaghan and Jeff Bahl; his grandchildren, Raelynn and Cade Marbach; and his niece Stephanie Eline.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Kay Hilsenbeck of Manchester; his children, Amanda Downs (Justin) of Manchester, Kayla Marbach (Tony) of Epworth, Cassie Devlin (Mitch) of Manchester and Eric Vaske (Heidi) of Manchester; his grandchildren, Bennett, Reilly Marbach, Liam, Mila, Maci Downs, Cora, Ellie Devlin and Baby Vaske; his siblings, Joyce Burkle (Allen) of Ryan, Alan Vaske (Felicia) of Dundee, Mark Vaske (Natalie) of Manchester, Lori Hoeger (Joe) of Hopkinton, Lois Goedken (Robert) of Dundee and Lisa Monaghan (Doug Siefker) of Ryan; his parents-in-law, Richard and Sharon McCrabb of Manchester; and his siblings-in-law, Lorie Jaeger of Florida, Leesa Shoemaker (Dave) of Florida, Ken Hilsenbeck of Colorado, Steve McCrabb (Lynne) of Manchester, Dan McCrabb (Vicki) of Manchester and Shelly McCrabb of Colorado. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery North Franklin (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057).
