With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy (Hartman) Hoffmann of Manchester, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larence W. Davis and Fern Imogene Davis (Mason); her husbands, Herbert Hartman and Joseph Hoffmann; her daughters, Judy Wilkins (Frank) and Cheryl Voelker; her granddaughter Ann Marie Wilkins; and her siblings, Matilda Davis, Frances Shover (James Shover), Isola White (John "Red"), Mabel Kauffman (Allen), Mildred Wilson (John T.), Ingle Davis (Alice) and Larence "Kent" Davis (Jane).
She is survived by: her son Richard Hartman (Joann) of Manchester; and her stepchildren, Sam Hoffmann (Mary Lou), Ann Hoffmann, Dr. Michael Hoffmann, Jim Hoffmann (Nikki) and Mary Laskin (Hardy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
