Elizabeth McMahon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 94, Elizabeth McMahon (Manchester, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Doyle and Elizabeth Doyle (Loughren); her husband Harold John McMahon; her children, Jean McMahon, Thomas B. and Dennis McMahon; and her siblings, John Doyle, Mark Doyle, Jerry Doyle (Catherine) and Lorraine Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McMahon (Gina) of Hayward, Kay Fomon (Chris) of Iowa City, Susan Hayes (Patrick) of Boulder, James McMahon (Lynn) of Algona and Jeff McMahon (Jacqueline) of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughters-in-law, Korena McMahon and Ellen McMahon; and her siblings, Dolores Callahan of Mesa, Arizona and Larry Doyle (Jolene) of Hayward, California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery North Franklin (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057).
Memorials may be donated to St. Mary Catholic School in Manchester.
