Freeman Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2025, at the age of 94, Freeman Smith of Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Smith and Berniece Smith (Aldrich); his wife Jean Richardson; and his sister Delma Smith. He is survived by: his family Buck Creek; his children, Delma Hardin (David) of Manchester, Delana Schulte (Doug) of Waukee, Sherrie Bockenstedt (Glen) of Manchester and David Smith (Julie) of Manchester; and his siblings, Roger Smith (Beverly), Eunese Roberg (Laverne) and Gordon Smith (Freda). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Freeman's family requests that memorials be directed to either the First Presbyterian Church or Good Neighbor Home.
