She was predeceased by: her mother Venita Marie Hockaday (Daniels); her husband Mick Strief; her father Lloyd Hockaday; and her brother Curtis Hockaday. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Strief (Lee) of Raleigh, Julie Wilson (Scott) of Littleton, Joan Bridgewater (Wes) of Montgomery and Jill Minkle (Bill). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
