He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Peterson (Nolan Settlement); his parents, Warner Peterson and Marie Peterson (Chamberlain); his grandson Jason Behrends; his siblings, James (Betty), Cliff (Sherlee), Helen (Roy Meeks) and Ruth Peterson; and his brother-in-law Charles Blinks.
He is survived by: his children, Kendy Behrends (Les) of Hendersonville, TN, Maria Tuttle (Mike), Cindi Recker (Dan) of Manchester, IA and Ken Peterson Jr. (Chirinjev) of Greenville, SC.; and his sister Linda Richardsen (Larry) of Lisbon, IA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kramer-Morris Funeral Home (700 E Oak St, Monticello, IA 52310).
