Larry Allyn Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 77, Larry Allyn Swanson of Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Swanson and Dorothy Swanson (Kuehl); his parents-in-law, Raymond and Orpha Rigter; his grandparents, John, Clara Kuehl (Horstman), Axel and Ella Swanson (Mattson); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Doyle, Randy Greenfield and John Rigter.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Swanson of Manchester; his children, Amy Swanson of Manchester and Jordan Swanson of Madison, Wisconsin; his sister Linda Mickens (Dave) of Manchester; his aunt Una Swanson of Manchester; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Greenfield of Kamrar, Iowa, Terry Doyle of Story City, Iowa and Sandy Rigter of Williams, Iowa.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Second Helpings, The Delaware County Food Pantry or any charity that helps feed people.
