He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Holdridge and Willa Holdridge (Wilson); his former wife Betty Lou; his son-in-law Jon C. Maples; his stepson Steve Swanson; and his siblings, Everett Holdridge (Darlene), Donna Porter (Cliff), Gale "Pat" Holdridge (Joan) and Roger Holdridge.
He is survived by: his wife Candice Holdridge (Short) of Manchester; his daughters, Joy Lynn Maples of Earlville and Leanne Holdridge (Jon Silha) of Platteville, Wisconsin; his stepchildren, Doug Krause (Barb) of Waverly and Jennifer Heath (Brad) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Derek Jon and Sara Joy; and his brother Richard "Dick" Holdridge (Joyan) of Dubuque. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Leonard-Muller Funeral Home (1500 N Franklin St, Manchester, IA 52057).
