He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Franks and Louise Franks (Wilson); his son Michael; and his siblings, Gloria Rodriquez and Harold Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Franks of Manchester; his children, David Franks, Mickie Deaton (Brian), Melissa Franks, Christopher Franks (Leslie), Danelle Fowler (Pete), Larry Yeager (Kelly), Joseph Powers (Debi) and Jamie Powers; and his siblings, Patricia Sands, Laverne Franks (Donna), Michael Franks (Sandra) and Charles Franks (Paula). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
