He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Robert Dyke and Doris Van Dyke (Robinson); his mother-in-law Helen Larkin; and his brother Robin "Rob" Van Dyke. He is survived by: his wife Leann Van Dyke of Manchester; his children, Bob Van Dyke (Carrie Hannan) of Dubuque, Jenni Harksen (Derek) of Rock Island and Angie Ditch of Marion; his granddaughter Kensley Van Dyke of Wilton; his stepgrandson Jayden Simon; his sisters, Susie Logan of Dallas and Donna Briggs of Henderson, Kentucky; his brother-in-law Pete Larkin (Dee) of New Hampton; his nephews, Steve Logan, Mark Logan (Julie), Doug Briggs, Ryan Larkin, Sean Larkin and Kelly Larkin (Sami); and his niece Becky Hudson (Keith).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leonard-Muller Funeral Home (1500 N Franklin St, Manchester, IA 52057). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Oakland Cemetery North Franklin (1125 N Franklin St, Manchester, IA 52057).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or local animal shelters.
