Vera Martha Gienapp Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2025, at the age of 104, Vera Martha Gienapp of Manchester, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Martha Gienapp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Taylor and Charlotte Taylor (Wright); her husband Bud Gienapp; and her siblings, William Taylor (Iva), Harry Taylor, Howard Taylor (Nell) and Myrtle Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Gienapp (Anne) of Bonita Springs, Joyce DeFrance (Steve) of Mason City and Rick Gienapp (Barb) of Iowa City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (116 Guetzko Ct, Manchester, IA 52057). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester, Hope Lodge in Iowa City, or Camp Courageous.
