It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Stevens of Manly, Iowa, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jo Stevens (Christensen) and Gerald E. Stevens; her sister Annette Stevens; her grandparents, Herbert, Eleanor Christensen (Sobiekski), Lyle and Jeanette Stevens (Bardsley); and her uncle Vern Severson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Debbie Heine (Jeff) and Kathy Nielsen (Bryan) of San Diego, CA; her aunt Pat Severson; her nieces and nephews, Alyssa Groom (Nathan), Erinn Heine, Kelsey and Kira Nielsen of San Diego, CA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellie, Henry, Aubrie and Hendrix; and her cousins, Becky Hanssen and Vicki Severson. She is also survived by relatives, friends, and countless caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Clear Lake Christian Church (302 US-18, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
