She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Merritt and Grace Merritt; and her husband Thomas E. Fites. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas M. Fites (Marilyn) of Mason City, IA and Barry L. Fites (Debbie) of Plymouth, IA.; her sister Judy Treloar (Bob) of Vero Beach, FL; and her in-laws, Vincent and Virginia LaPlount. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
