She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Schneider and Catherine Schneider (Blum); her son Jerry Alan Carter; and her siblings, Ambrose (Bud), Jim, Urban, Rita and Ella Mae.
She is survived by: her husband Merlin Carter of Manning; her brother Don of Colorado Springs, CO; and her daughters, Sara Reikofski (Wade) of Bellevue Nebraska and Leah Preul (Ron) of Arcadia. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Denison Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1130 S Main St, Denison, IA 51442).
