Masching; his children, Brian (Tiffany), Amy (Scott Hasenclever) of Lebo, KS and Abby (Brad Cowan) of Plattsmouth, NE.; his grandchildren, Ava, Toby Ferneding, Anna, Sam, Sawyer Hasenclever, Cyrus, Conor and Corbyn Cowan; his siblings, Lonnie (Betty Ferneding), Gene (Mary Ferneding), Kay (Steve Schroeder), Jean Ferneding of Manning, Jane Ferneding (Tom Timperley), Joni (Mike Warner) and Mark Ferneding of Manning; and his parents-in-law, Linda, Mike Berger of Arcadia, Diane, Dan Sturm of Carroll, Sandy, Kenneth Irlmeier of Elk Horn, Donna Pemble of Carroll, Deb Masching of Granger, Mary and Dave Trent of Carroll.
