It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L Smith of Manson, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Smith and Phyllis Smith; his significant other Barbara Collmann; his in-laws, Rolland and Norma Collmann; and his brother-in-law Bruce Collmann.

He is survived by : his son Justin Smith (Kimberly) of Jordan, MN; his grandchildren, Jackson, Aiden, Mason and Jaylie; his pet KC; his sisters-in-law, Beth Hudson (Jim) of Pocahontas, IA and Mary Collmann of Des Moines, IA; his niece Sarah (Jared); and his nephews, Brian (Macy), Andy (Katie) and Aaron (Mariah). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
