He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Koithan (Carol) of Mapleton, IA and Thomas Koithan (Rose) of Clive, IA; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Koithan-Mockler of Vermillion, SD.; and his grandchildren, Douglas Koithan (Gina), Stephen Koithan (Jennifer), Sarah Janecke (Clayton), David Koithan (Maria), Jeff Koithan (Katie), Ben Koithan (Gabby), Eric Koithan (Tiffany), Alisa Wattier (Tyler), Joseph Koithan, MaryKatherine Braatz (Jackson), Morgan Lloyd (Trevor), Chelsea Brookes (Donnie) and Carly Watson. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; nieces, nephews, extended family.
