He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Peters and Olive Peters (Sharkey); his sisters, Helen Briggle, Barbara Franzkowiak and Betty Edkin; his parents-in-law, Marion and Leona Bell; and his brother-in-law Eddie Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Peters (Jodi), Melissa Lantz and Chad Bell (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jay Peters, Jon Peters, Elizabeth Nelson (Kristopher), Matthew Lantz, Brady Bell (Tasha) and Kalie Petersen (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Macie Bell, Hayden Bird, Lily Bird, Greyson Broer, Gracelynn Bird, Hudson Petersen, Asher James Nelson and Ellie Jean Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
