She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Max Smith, Lloyd and Carrie Johnston (Skow); her niece Lynn Mitchell; and her pets, Nala and Sassy.
She is survived by: her parents, Earl Johnston and Julie Johnston (Smith) of Mapleton, Iowa; her daughter Josie Lynn Johnston of Mapleton, Iowa; her grandmother Marjorie Smith (Carlson) of Mapleton, Iowa; her sisters, Wendy Johnston (Mike Elton) of Sloan and Sarah Johnston of Hinton, Iowa; her nieces, Brianna Mitchell of Omaha, Becca Mitchell (Josh Victor) of Omaha, Ava Lee of Sloan and Karly Stolen of Hinton, Iowa; and her pets, Winnie, Tiger and Zoey. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
