He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yarolem and Lydia Yarolem (Marek); and his brothers-in-law, Ernest Redmond and Roger Dreismeier. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Yarolem (Sue) of Davenport, Vivian Redmond of Davenport and Rosemary Dreismeier of Springville; his siblings' children, Cynthia Bender (Larry), Dianna Amhof (Randy), Dennis Redmond, Michelle Klinzman (Gary), Rodney Dreismeier (Andrea) and Tammy Dirks; and his close friends, Audene Voelzke and Alan Mohr.

To honor Arlo's memory, memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Church in Maquoketa.
