He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rubel and Esther Rubel (Schroeder); and his siblings, Jim and Barbara Bies. He is survived by: his brother Larry Rubel (Suzanne); his siblings-in-law, Roger Bies and Peggy Heiar; his nephews, Jeremy (Brenda), Joel (Michelle) and Jared Rubel (Kellie); and his niece Amy Steadman.
Memorials may be made in Dennis's honor to Jackson County Hospice, the Cancer Association, or the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary in Edgemont, South Dakota.
