We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, Kenneth P Althoff of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Aileen Althoff (Hemmer); his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Shelley and Tara; his brother Ron; and his in-laws, Vince, Louise Nemmers, Loras Delaney, Audrey, Phil Lambe and Carol Althoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie; his son-in-law Ben; his grandsons, Caleb, Elliott, Gabe and Toby; his sisters, JoAnn Delaney, Carole Kleis (Dick), Donna Klosterman (Don) and Joyce Bockenstedt (Wayne); and his brother-in-law Ron Nemmers (Jane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 S Vermont St, Maquoketa, IA 52060).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's name may be given to the Althoff Family Christian Service Fund at Sacred Heart School in Maquoketa.
