He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Irwin. He is survived by: his mother Jean Marburger of Iowa City; his sons, John Marburger of Maquoketa and Brandt Marburger of Maquoketa, Iowa; and his sister Cathy McCullough of Iowa City. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
