She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Kroger and Otillia Kroger (Laubach); her husband John Stamer; her daughter Sandie Sand; her grandson Clint Stowater; her great grandchildren, Liam and Noah Stowater; her sister Betty Lou; her in-laws, John and Lavinia Stamer (Pauling); and her brother-in-law Lloyd Newkirk.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Stamer of Okoboji, IA, Londa Stowater (Troy) of Wayne, Brenda Simons of Marcus, IA and Crystal Fuentes (Abel) of Le Mars, IA; and her siblings, Ruth Newkirk (Lloyd) of Hartley, IA, Karen Zinn (Kenneth) of Lake Park, IA and Kenneth Kroger (Glenda) of Hartley, IA.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (300 E Spruce St, Marcus, IA 51035). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
