It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Ann Knapp of Marengo, Iowa, born in Benton, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lippincott and Sylvia Lippincott (Wilson); her siblings, Charles, Dennis, Jeffrey, Chris and Sharon; her great grandchild Abigale; and her son-in-law Mike Hanson.

She is survived by: her close friend Sam White of Iowa City; and her children, Dion Knapp of Sturgis, SD, Daun Knapp of Kalona, Sheila Gronewold of Parnell, Bonnie Meketsy of Marengo and Steven Knapp of South English. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A general memorial fund has been established.
