He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Leonard and Mary Marie King (Miller); his sister Sylvia Brimmer; and his half-siblings, Robert Gordish and Linda Gordish.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce King of Marengo; his children, Deryl King of Shellsburg, Sheldon King (Sheila) of Bertram, Iowa and Trishia Fuller (Dan) of Walkins, Iowa; and his siblings, Moe King (Diana) of Quasqueton, Leslie King (Evelyn) of Independence, Mary Knudson (Dick) of Quasqueton, Crystal Gross of Mabel and Valerie Teisinger (Jim) of Waterloo, Iowa. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
