He was predeceased by: his parents, George Huxford and Ruth Huxford (Lackey); and his sister Darlene Hill. He is survived by: his wife Judy Newport; his sons, Kyle Huxford (Shelly) of Cedar Rapids and Derek Huxford of Des Moines; his great grandchildren, Hannah Buswell, Rachel Schmucker (Eric), Chloe Buswell, Noah Huxford, Aubrey Huxford and Whitley Huxford; his grandchildren, Penelope Paulsen and Vincent Marrero; and his great grandchildren, Vincent Marrero and Penelope Paulsen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (902 Marengo Ave, Marengo, IA 52301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
