He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Slockett and Charlotte Slockett (Bidwell); and his brother-in-law John Freese. He is survived by: his significant other Mary D Miller; his children, Missy Disterhoft (Jeff) and Luke Slockett (Shannon); his siblings, Tom Slockett and Terry Freese; and his grandchildren, Ally, Nate Disterhoft, Brynlee and Bryar Slockett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Jim's memory to the American Legion Post #76 and that a drink be shared with good friends.
