He is survived by: his wife Barb of Marengo; his children, Kelly Murphy of Austin, Andrew Kyte (Rachael) of Cedar Rapids, Tim McMeen (Lisa) of Williamsburg and Liz Kriegel of Marengo; his grandchildren, Dylan McDonald, Mateo McMeen, Callie Kyte, Chloe Kyte, Evan McDonald, Aubrey Kriegel, Josie McMeen, Ashlyn Ring, Isabelle Kriegel and Eva Kriegel; and his brother James McMeen (Linda) of New Hope, Minnesota.
A memorial fund has been established for First United Methodist Church Marengo or Safe Haven of Iowa County.
