She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Cach and Margaret Cach (Mackey); her husband Ronald Brecht Sr.; her son-in-law Garth Cooney; and her brother John Cach.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Brecht (Michelle) of Walford and Della Cooney (late Husband Garth) of Marengo; her grandchildren, Hunter Brecht (Raelynn) of Norway, Haley Farr (Shane) of Amana, Jason Cooney (Kayla) of Manchester, Sara Weidner (Darryl) of Marion, Chad Cooney (Kaylynn) of Madison, SD, Brandon Jordan (Jennica) of Shellsburg and Ashley Michaelsen (Blake) of Ankeny; her great grandchildren, Addison, Paislee, Nathan, Sammy, Nolan, Sydney, Leighton, Weston, Kendall, Connor, Noah, Jude, Sophie and Kash; her brother Dennis Cach; her sister-in-law June Cach; and her pet Snoopy.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established Safe Haven of Iowa County.
